Mother’s Day at Olde Stage Inne & Flower Farm

More than any other occasion, Mother’s Day arrangements are deeply tied to emotion, memory, gratitude, and care. This year’s Mother’s Day collection at Olde Stage Inne & Flower Farm was inspired by those feelings.

The collection draws from the essence of spring and motherhood alike: softness, warmth, gentleness, resilience, and beauty that feels natural rather than forced. Each arrangement was designed to feel expressive and alive, using movement, texture, layered color palettes, and seasonal blooms that embody both elegance and comfort.

Tulips were chosen for their delicate movement and fleeting beauty, reminiscent of the tenderness often associated with motherhood itself. Hydrangeas bring fullness and softness to the arrangements, while rose lilies create openness, fragrance, and dimension without feeling overly formal. Seasonal greenery, wax flowers, stock, and layered floral textures were intentionally incorporated to create arrangements that feel gathered with care rather than overly structured.

Rather than approaching the collection with a traditional holiday formula, each arrangement was designed around a different emotional feeling often connected to Mother’s Day.

“A Tender I Love You” embraces simplicity and softness through an all-tulip composition in pastel and blush tones. “Love in the Air” was created to feel airy, graceful, and light, inspired by the feeling of warmth and affection that lingers long after a moment has passed. “Garden’s Elegance” leans into lush pastel florals and layered texture, while “Expressions of Love,” the signature arrangement of the collection, reflects abundance, joy, and celebration through vibrant seasonal blooms and color.

Even the Mother’s Day Designer’s Choice arrangement follows this same philosophy. Arranged in a charming tin basket, each design becomes a whimsical medley of seasonal flowers, allowing the individuality of the blooms to shape the final arrangement naturally.

At its heart, this collection was designed to feel personal. Not overly perfect. Not overly formal. Simply thoughtful, expressive, and reflective of the people being celebrated.
